Every child is different and acquires speech and language at his/her own rate. For example, girls learn at a faster rate and younger siblings are often overshadowed by an older sibling's speech. A child is never too young to receive speech-language pathology. Studies show that early intervention is key to success. If you have any concerns, give us a call to determine elgibility. If you are in Charlottesville or 25 miles outside the perimeters of Fauquier County, sessions may take place in the comfort of your own home . If you are outside the designated areas or you would rather experience therapy online, then telepractice may be for you. Arrangements can also be made for sessions to take place out in the community.

We now are accepting insurance. Call to determine if your insurance is out-of-network. If so, full payment of service will be due the day of service. We would submit a claim on your behalf as a courtesy. Depending on your insurance plan, out-of-network benefits may be payable after your deductible is met. Written reports will be provided upon request from your insurance. Prior to starting therapy we recommend that you call your insurance company and verify your benefits. Some insurance companies may require a referral from your pediatrician.

Payment in the form of cash or credit is due upon receipt of services. Checks may be accepted, but a penalty fee will be added if returned. You will receive a receipt for all payments for your records, and an invoice for insurance reimbursement upon request.
